Japanese shipowner Mitsui OSK Lines is being named as having signed an LNG carrier newbuilding at South Korean shipbuilder Hanwha Ocean on Monday.
The yard listed the contract price for the lone LNG carrier as KRW 332.2bn ($257.4m). But based on the exchange rate quoted by the shipbuilder in its announcement to the Korean Stock Exchange this gives a price of $259.5m
