Subsea 7 is still interested in acquiring DOF, and its failure to close the deal last month has it on the prowl for tonnage.
On Wednesday’s earnings call, Subsea 7 chief executive John Evans said his company will be looking to charter in vessels after missing out on DOF and its 52-ship fleet amid an upturn in the offshore sector.
