Teekay Corp will trial a new fuel additive to cut emissions.
The Canadian tanker group has agreed to pilot UK producer SulNOx Group’s SulNOxEco conditioner at the hubs of Gibraltar and Singapore.
The move highlights Teekay’s ambition to decarbonise and lead shipping’s immediate efforts in the global energy transition, the companies said.
