The presence of security guards helped deter a suspicious approach on a tanker off Yemen on Tuesday.
The unnamed Malta-flagged vessel was approached by two skiffs 22 nautical miles west of Hodeidah, security company Ambrey reported.
The small boats were supported by a larger ship located 3nm from the tanker when the approach began.
