Piraeus Bank has arrested Greek shipping company Edem Marine’s 52,500-dwt bulk carrier Patriot (built 2004) in Singapore.
According to records at the High Court of Singapore, the ship was seized last Thursday after the bank filed a $7m mortgage claim against it.
The vessel is one of four supramax bulkers that make up the Edem fleet.
