Changes in ownership of product tankers are keeping Russian oil flowing despite the European ban and G7 price cap
The UK’s Gibson Shipbrokers has so far tracked more than 120 MR vessels and at least 21 LR2s involved in shipping Russian refined products in the month since the European Union embargo entered into force.
Some analysts had previously said the lack of a so-called shadow fleet of clean tankers could hamper exports.
