Albanian police say they have detained a product tanker with a cargo of 22,500 tonnes of oil that they suspect originated from Russia.
The vessel, with 22 crew members, was stopped at the port city of Durres based on intelligence that it received the oil in a ship-to-ship (STS) transfer off the coast of Greece, according to a police statement.
