Singapore’s Pacific Carriers Ltd (PCL) is said to be exiting VLGCs with the sale of its 2001-built gas carrier.
According to gas carrier sources, PCL has sold the Stocznia Gdynia-built, 78,550-cbm Rubra for $35m to an unnamed Middle Eastern buyer.
The Robert Kuok-backed shipping company was contacted about the sale but a PCL executive said his company does not comment on market rumours.
