Greek owner OceanPal has won a new charter at a better rate from giant shipper Koch Shipping in Singapore.
The Nasdaq-listed owner said the 177,000-dwt capesize Baltimore (built 2005) has been fixed at a gross rate of $13,300 per day, minus a 5% commission paid to third parties.
The deal lasts for at least five months, starting on 9 February, with options to make this eight months.
