Panamax bulkers have begun the week with a lurch due to vessel oversupply in the Atlantic basin, according to a broker.
The Baltic Exchange’s Panamax 5TC basket of spot-rate averages slipped 3.5% on Monday to $8,159 per day, marking a new low not seen since June 2020.
