Russia is not planning on any sharp reduction of its oil products output after the European Union bans its imports, the country’s energy minister said.
The ban starts on Sunday but will force Russia to seek alternative markets for the 1.4m barrels per day of oil products that it exported to the 27-nation bloc in 2022.
A similar ban on crude imports from December saw Russia sell more at reduced prices to countries led by China, India and Turkey.
