Norwegian investment company Hunter Group has advised the market to “stay tuned” for its next move after revealing its final profit from operating VLCCs.
The Oslo-listed owner banked $383m in June for its four modern tankers, with Angelicoussis Group’s Maran Tankers and DAO Shipping of the UK taking two each.
The last ship — the 300,000-dwt Hunter Freya (built 2020) — was delivered to DAO in Singapore in November after completing its final voyage.
