Belgium’s Euronav has revealed the decision to end its potential tie-up with Frontline was taken solely by the John Fredriksen-controlled company.
In a statement on Tuesday morning, the jilted partner said it noted Frontline’s announcement that the Cyprus-based tanker operation had “unilaterally” decided to terminate the combination agreement signed in July.
