Diana Shipping has fixed two bulkers — an ultramax and a panamax — on multi-month period deals in the closing days of 2022 as broker assessments showed rates for such deals on the decline.
The Semiramis Paliou-led owner of 42 vessels has signed a time-charter contract with Western Bulk for the 60,300-dwt DSI Altair (built 2016) starting Thursday and lasting to any time from 25 June to 25 August of next year.
