An unprecedented number of LNG carrier newbuildings have been ordered in 2022 worth more than $35bn in total and doubling previous annual record tallies.
Detailed analysis by TradeWinds, in cooperation with other industry record keepers, shows over 170 full-size LNG carriers were contracted to date this year.
