A second floating storage and regasification unit for Germany is being inched into the draft-restricted northeast port of Lubmin after arriving off the coast earlier this month, following a first FSRU for the country that arrived on Thursday in the winter push to replace Russian pipeline gas.
Eikland Energy’s iGIS/LNG said the 145,130-cbm FSRU Neptune (built 2009), which is in ballast, is being slowly moved into Lubmin’s inner port area, escorted by six tugs and harbour vessels.
