Belgium’s Euronav is not giving any ground in the face of a call by its biggest shareholder to tear up a combination agreement with John Fredriksen’s Frontline.
The Saverys family, owner of shipping company CMB, this week amassed a Euronav stake of 25%, enough to prevent a full merger of the two tanker giants.
But Euronav still wants to press ahead with a fleet unification.
