Braemar is confident of landing further acquisitions in the next few months after adding Medco Shipbrokers’ tanker desk in Madrid.
The London-listed shipbroker said it has set up a fully owned company called Madrid Shipping Advisors with 10 former Medco brokers.
Chief operating officer Tris Simmonds told TradeWinds the operation would be run by the team’s senior Spanish brokers, together with himself and another Braemar director.
