Denmark’s Terntank is back on the fleet renewal trail with an order for up to four dual-fuel tankers in China.
It has contracted two firm 15,000-dwt ships with two options at China Merchants Jinling Shipyard in Yangzhou — the former Avic Dingheng Shipbuilding.
The vessels — due in spring 2025 for an undisclosed price — will be powered by gasoil, biofuels and methanol and carry chemicals, oil products and biofuels.
