Canada’s Algoma Central and Swedish shipowner Furetank have deepened their partnership in their joint venture by ordering four more product tankers from a Chinese shipyard.
Algoma, which owns and operates bulk carriers and tankers on the Great Lakes and St Lawrence Seaway, signed a deal with Furetank in August to build four 17,999-dwt product tankers built at China Merchants Jinling Shipyard.
