Connecticut-based Ridgebury Tankers is continuing disposals that have seen the exit of more than half of its fleet during 2022.
Ridgebury has sold the 159,400-dwt Ridgebury Nicholas A (built 2007) for $34m to a buyer who was not identified, according to a market source who was able to confirm broker reports of the deal.
The sale marks the 16th disposal of the year from the Westport, Connecticut-based company, which is led by chief executive Bob Burke.
