A lack of vessels, volatile market conditions, concerns over energy security and charterers’ hesitancy to release their ships is expected to extend the highly competitive conditions currently being experienced in the LNG shipping market, according to GasLog Partners.
Speaking on the company’s third-quarter results call chief executive Paolo Enoizi said LNG imports to Europe have risen 63% in the first nine months of this year following the disruptions of Russian pipeline gas.
