UK insurer International Transport Intermediaries Club (ITIC) has succeeded in getting a shipbroker its commission in a sale-and-purchase dispute.
The insurer said it had threatened legal action against a seller who withheld $68,000 following the successful completion of a vessel deal.
ITIC did not name the parties involved but said the case involved an overdue payment to an S&P desk.
