Belgium's Euronav has contracted two more suezmaxes as it aims to renew the fleet and prepare for zero-carbon fuels.
The New York and Brussels-listed owner has returned to DH Shipbuilding in South Korea for sisterships to the 157,000-dwt Cedar and Cypress, delivered this year from the same yard.
Both tankers will be delivered in the third quarter of 2024, a relatively early date given most shipping players are warning of nearly all delivery slots now being pushed back into 2025.
