BW Group-backed Cadeler is close to ordering a second innovative $345m wind turbine installation vessel (WTIV) in China.
The first F-Class ship was ordered at Cosco Heavy Industry (CHI) earlier this year and was fixed out this week from 2027 until the end of 2030 in a deal worth $320m. The charterer has not been named.
“Cadeler continues to see strong underlying demand for foundation installation services in offshore wind,” the company said.
