US tanker owner International Seaways has struck a more conciliatory tone as it responded to the latest appeal to work together from its biggest shareholder, John Fredriksen’s Seatankers Group.
After a war of words erupted earlier this year following the company’s adoption of a “poison pill” defence against further stock buys by Fredriksen, the latest statement suggests some common ground can be found.
