Norway’s Frontline has chartered out one of its LR2/aframax tankers at a strong rate over three years.
The company said that earlier this month the unnamed vessel was taken at $31,500 per day.
This compares to a spot rate for the company’s LR2s at $46,200 for 62% of contract coverage in the third quarter.
