The master of a product tanker suspected of illegally anchoring in Indonesian waters has been jailed for 15 days, according to reports.
Vivek Kumar was also fined 200 million rupiah ($13,350), Reuters reported. The 50,000-dwt Nord Joy (built 2018) was released after the July 7 decision by the court on the Indonesian island of Batam, a navy spokesman told the agency.
