Expanding UK owner Union Maritime is not behind the purchase of Concordia Maritime’s latest tanker disposal.
Brokers had linked the Laurent Cadji-led company to the $15.5m acquisition of the 65,000-dwt P-Max product tanker Stena Paris (built 2005) earlier this month.
But Sweden’s Concordia told TradeWinds this is not the case, but could not provide any further details.
