Suezmax tanker owner CM Lemos has made its debut in the LR2 segment with newbuildings.
The Greek shipowner has struck a shipbuilding deal with South Korea’s Hyundai Mipo Dockyard (HMD) for three 115,000-dwt product carriers to be delivered between late 2024 and the first half of 2025.
Officials at HMD declined to comment on the shipyard’s newbuilding activities when contacted, citing contract confidentiality.
