Energy companies Equinor and Fluxys have unveiled plans for an infrastructure project that would transport CO2 captured in northern Europe to storage sites in the North Sea.
The project includes a 1,000-km export pipeline with capacity to handle between 20 million and 40 million tonnes of CO2 per annum.
