Family-owned Norwegian tanker player Utkilen is investing €125m ($132m) in what it calls one of Europe’s most future-oriented fleets.
A series of new multifuel tankers has been ordered in Turkey, and other modern vessels will be converted to run on LNG.
Utkilen has ordered four 6,700-dwt carriers at the Icdas yard in Turkey for delivery from the beginning of 2024.
