Idan Ofer-controlled Eastern Pacific Shipping (EPS) is being named as the buyer of two rare LNG carrier resales at apparently strong prices of $231.7m each.
Brokers said the LNG carrier pair, which was originally contracted by Nigerian trader Bono Energy in February at Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries, was snapped up by EPS in a deal done directly with the shipbuilder.
