The boss of Russia’s United Shipbuilding Corp (USC) has vowed to carry on as usual following the imposition of sanctions by the US earlier this month.
The action was taken by US president Joe Biden’s government over military ships built by USC that it claims have probably been involved in attacking Ukraine.
The state yard group’s chief executive, Alexei Rakhmanov, said in a statement: “We will be working as always, developing our own technologies and arranging contacts with new international markets.
