Europe’s shift away from Russian natural gas — expected to bolster LNG carriers — will reportedly be boosted by the US just when Moscow put buyers in a tough spot.
The US is reportedly readying a plan to provide 15bn cubic metres of LNG to Europe by the end of the year, to support the European Union’s efforts to slash its Russian gas imports by two-thirds by the end of the year.
