The Energy Observer, a catamaran described as the world’s first energy-autonomous hydrogen vessel, has docked in Singapore as part of an eight-year worldwide experimental tour.
Energy Observer — the organisation of the same name that built and operates the ship — was keen to show off the 30.5-metre vessel coated with 130 square metres of solar panels and other innovative on-board technologies, including a system that allows it to make hydrogen out of seawater.
