Members of THE Alliance are to deploy larger container ships for their most frequented services.
The four liner alliance members will introduce a series of fuel-efficient 11,000-teu vessels on key routes to replace older tonnage.
The moves are part of efforts by Hapag-Lloyd, Ocean Network Express, HMM and Yang Ming Marine Transport to cope with bottlenecks in key ports worldwide.
