Muscat-based Asyad Shipping has expanded its liner arm's network to South East Asia, claiming it is the only company to operate a direct route connecting Singapore and Malaysia with Oman.
The company, formerly known as Oman Shipping Co, will deploy its 4,250-teu container ship Wadi Bani Khalid (built 2008) on a twice monthly service that will connect via Sohar with Asyad's container services to the wider Middle East Gulf region.
