Nordic American Tankers (NAT) has fixed two newbuildings due to hit the water this spring and summer to Oman’s state-run Asyad Shipping Co.
The New York-listed suezmax specialist said the six-year charters for the two yet-to-be-named 156,800-dwt ships, set for delivery in May and June, will bring in $100m in revenue while covering more than 60% of their price tag.
