A Valles Steamship MR tanker has been in collision with a Chinese owned panamax bulker in the Dover Strait early on Saturday.
The two ships involved have been identified as the 48,600-dwt Seafrontier (built 2011) and the 75,800-dwt Huayang Endeavour (built 2011).
The UK’s Maritime Coastguard Agency (MCA) said it was informed of the incident of the UK’s south coast just after 0200 on Saturday this morning.
