Luxembourg-based CLdN RoRo has placed an order for two hybrid ro-ro vessels with South Korea’s Hyundai Mipo Dockyard.
The 8,000-lane-meter vessels will be equipped with two LNG dual fuel main engines.
They are scheduled for delivery in the first half of 2025.
No price was disclosed for the deal which CLdN said was the largest investment in its history.
It is the second time the company has ordered ships designed to run on LNG.
