Danish authorities have dropped the charges against the alleged pirates detained after November's shootout with the country's navy in the Gulf of Guinea.
Lawyers for three of the four men told Danish media that the charges against their clients were being dropped and that they would be released, Agence France-Presse reported.
"The prosecutor has decided not to prosecute my client," lawyer Niels Anker Rasmussen told the French newswire.
