Two elderly cargo ships have been barred in Europe following their failure to dock for repairs.
The Paris Memorandum of Understanding on Port State Control (Paris MOU) said both vessels were due to call at shipyards in Piraeus, Greece, towards the end of last year but failed to do so.
The 1,500-dwt Bella (built 1983) was banned from the Paris MOU region this month.
