Jeppe Jensen-led Celsius Shipping's tanker arm Celsius Tankers has confirmed that it is the party behind two LNG carrier newbuilding orders at Samsung Heavy Industries that were announced during December, meaning the company has tripled its fleet in a year.
The Copenhagen-headquartered company said that, together with partners, it has ordered two 180,000-cbm "ultra-eco" LNG carriers which it said will "further support the growth targets of Celsius’ LNG fleet.
