A former Maran Tankers VLCC reportedly sold for scrap in the summer is still trading under a new name.
Brokers had said that the 319,000-dwt Maya VN (built 2003) had been sent for recycling at $560 per ldt in August, or nearly $24.8m on a lump-sum basis.
The deal was said to have been done on "as is" terms in Indonesia.
