A company led by ship financier Rolf Wikborg is in talks with shipyards in the Far East for a series of dual-fuel MR tanker newbuildings that could cost close to $650m.
Shipbuilding sources said EuroGreen Maritime has approached South Korea's Hyundai Mipo Dockyard and three shipyards in China for a potential order for a dozen 50,000-dwt product tankers that can run on LNG, in addition to conventional marine fuels.
