China Cosco Shipping has completed China's first carbon-neutral shipment of crude on a tanker.
The company carried 30,000 tonnes of oil on an unnamed vessel from Angola to Ningbo Zhoushan port in China.
The crude was produced by China's Sinopec and travelled 9,300 nautical miles (17,200 km) across the Atlantic, Indian and Pacific oceans, Cosco said.
The oil ended up at Sinopec's Gaoqiao Petrochemical Corporation refinery.
