After two hard-fought days at Woburn Golf club, the Norwegian shipowner’s annual match against their British counterparts ended in a draw last week, leaving the home team to retain the cup.
The teams have been battling it out on the fairways of their respective countries since 1947, taking it in turns to host the event.
In 1952, shipbuilders from the Clyde, Scotland, presented a silver cup to the competition that the teams still compete for.
