Avance Gas boss Kristian Sorensen is taking action to combat a slew of new VLGCs hitting the water over the next two years.
Shipowners have ordered around 50 new large gas carriers this year alone, many of them new dual-fuel units, bringing the total orderbook to 105 ships, data from UK shipbroker Clarksons shows.
Sorensen said: "The orderbook is something we are not particularly happy about.
