Japan’s K Line has been linked to an order for two dual-fuel pure car/truck carrier (PCTC) newbuildings booked by John Fredriksen-backed SFL Corp.
The shipping giant is also poised to order newbuildings of its own that can also run on LNG and conventional fuels.
The Tokyo-based K Line is said to be the charterer of the two 7,000-ceu newbuildings that SFL announced ordering on 18 August.
